Argenta, by Guinness Homes, is the first opportunity for buyers to invest in a mammoth project at the heart of Royal Docks regeneration.

The Silvertown Partnership plans to deliver nearly 7,000 homes including 1,800 designated as affordable housing.

That scheme is now coming to fruition, with the initial collection of homes released by Guinness forming part of the delivery of 430 it will supply during the first phase of the development.

One and two-bedroom apartments are available on a shared ownership basis, featuring open-plan living areas with fitted kitchens and integrated appliances.

The homes also feature private balconies and residents get access to a landscaped communal garden, complete with raised beds for growing fruit, vegetables and flowers.

everything Royal Docks has to offer

Hellyn Fairbrother, sales manager at Guinness Homes, said: “We’re delighted to be offering buyers the opportunity to find a home at Argenta, with a fantastic collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments designed to suit modern lifestyles.

“From the contemporary interiors and private balconies to the landscaped residents’ garden, we’ve really focused on creating homes that offer comfort, quality and a sense of community.

“Combined with the excellent transport connections and everything the Royal Docks has to offer, Argenta is a brilliant choice for those looking to put down roots in east London.”

When complete, the Silvertown regeneration will include leisure facilities, commercial space, cafés, bars and restaurants as well as a revitalised waterfront overlooking the dock.

One business to open early on will be Huddy’s, a coffee and brunch spot and a sister venue to Little Hudson at nearby Royal Wharf.

In addition to thousands of new residents, the area’s infrastructure will change as part of the development, which includes plans for a 305m bridge across the dock.

This will connect pedestrians and cyclists directly with the Elizabeth Line at Custom House beside Excel London.

The area is also comprehensively served by West Silvertown DLR, which offers connections to Canning Town for the Jubilee line and London City Airport for international travel.

The Uber Boat By Thames Clippers river bus service stops at Royal Wharf to the south and Royal Docks is newly connected to Greenwich Peninsula via the Silvertown Tunnel offering a route south of the river for drivers and those travelling by bus.
